La Golondrina Mexican Cafe - Los Angeles CA Real Haunted Places

  • 17 Olvera St.
  • Los Angeles, CA
Although this popular Mexican restaurant closed its doors in May 2024, the location was a well known hot spot for paranormal activity. In operation since the 1920s, the restaurant was one of the oldest of its kind in Los Angeles. Consuelo Castillo de Bonzo founded the restaurant and it’s believed that the founder’s spirit lingers there to this day. There have been reports of eerie stories at the restaurant, including seeing the extremely heavy bathroom door open on its own. Another time, a staff member stated their equipment moved from one end of the kitchen to the other.
