Nightmare in Running Springs Haunted House is a free local haunt for the mountain communities and surrounding areas to enjoy. We are a "home haunt" located in Running Springs, but don't let that fool you.

We have been haunting the Southern California area for more than two decades in various cities and venues. We started Nightmare in Running Springs in 2016 as a home haunt to express our haunted creativity (obsession) in the mountains and provide the community with something fun (and safe) to do.

Please be courteous, respectful and above all safe when in our lovely neighborhood. We would hate to have to keep you in our dungeon.

We do use special effects including video, fog, lighting effects (strobes included), scents, intense environments, loud sounds and more. If you have heart or back problems, are pregnant, or cannot handle psychological stress - we do not recommend this haunt. Enter at your own risk. We are not responsible for any injuries.

 

Coming from Lake Arrowhead/Crestline areas - Head towards Running Springs. Once you're about a mile or so into the community, you'll make a right on Sunset - across from the Village Market. Head down the hill and make a right on Ocean View. Follow the signage to our haunt. Coming from Big Bear - head down Hwy 18 until you reach Running Springs and hang a right to keep on Hwy 18 at the split off. Head down about a half mile or so and make a left at Sunset - the street is just before the Village Market on the other side. Head down the hill and make a right on Ocean View. Follow the signage to our haunt. Coming from San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, High Desert, etc. - Head up the Hwy 330 if you're coming from "down the mountain" - once you're in the area of Running Springs, you'll want to hang a right to head into our town. Here you'll make a left away from the town. Head down about a half mile or so and make a left at Sunset - the street is just before the Village Market on the other side. Head down the hill and make a right on Ocean View. Follow the signage to our haunt.
