CaliforniaHauntedHouses.com recently sat down with Nathan Polanco of Fear Overload Scream Park, to discuss what's new at Fear Overload Scream Park for the 2016 Halloween Season! Located in San Leandro, Fear Overload has been featured on CBS, ABC, Fox and Forbes and offers two heart-pounding haunted houses for its thrill-seekers to journey through.

The live horror entertainment offered at Fear Overload is sure to put your senses to the test! Do you have the guts to make it all the way through? 

What's new at Fear Overload Scream Park for 2016? Do you have any new rides, attractions, or special features that Haunt Seekers should know about?

This year, Fear Overload has two new attractions: Grimm Fairytale Killer and Insanitarium. Grimm Fairytale Killer is definitely the more creative of the two, while Insanitarium features some of our new Hollywood-quality props and sets, imported this year from Seattle and St Louis.

What are you most excited about for the 2016 Halloween Season?

This year, we have been excited about level of improvements to the show we have made. As probably the fastest growing company in this industry in Northern California, we were fortunate to have had the opportunity to dump a substantial amount of capital into the sets, props, costumes, and makeup this year to put on by far the most elaborate haunted houses we have ever produced.

What differentiates Fear Overload Scream Park from other local haunts in California?

Fear Overload Scream Park is the only haunted house event in Northern California geared really to scare you, not just for families and those looking for festival-type events. Our haunted houses are very dark and will scare you.

How long has Fear Overload Scream Park been in business? Can you tell us a bit more about Fear Overload Scream Park's history?

This is Fear Overload Scream Park's eighth year in business. Anyone who has been following this company over the past eight years knows just how much we have grown as a company, now being probably the fastest growing company in this industry in Northern California.

What's your favorite experience since opening Fear Overload Scream Park?

We love the scares of course, and the customer reactions.

On a scale from 1 to 10, how scary would you say Fear Overload Scream Park is? Why?

Fear Overload Scream Park is a 10. Producing very scary attractions is our niche in the industry.

What inspired you to open up a haunted attraction? What's your favorite part of the business?

My business partner and I have had a passion for the entertainment industry ever since we began working. This was just the only industry that was suitable for us.

How has new technology (i.e. animatronics, special props, etc) helped you to enhance Fear Overload Scream Park?

Fear Overload Scream Park probably contains the most detailed props and sets north of Los Angeles.

Can Fear Overload Scream Park accommodate large groups? How many people can experience Fear Overload Scream Park together as a group?
